About
We spent 13 years buying ads. Then we built the button.
OpenClips.AI is built by Coinis — a performance advertising company that has been putting ads in front of people since 2013. We didn't set out to make a video tool. We set out to fix the part of our own job that had become the bottleneck.

The problem we lived
Creative became the bottleneck, and we were standing in it
For most of a decade the hard part of performance advertising was distribution: finding the inventory, reading the data, moving budget before the market did. We got good at that. Then the hard part moved.
By 2026 the constraint was not where to put an ad. It was how many versions of it you could make this week. A campaign that needs forty creatives to find its winner does not care that your agency can deliver four.
So we did what everyone else did: we subscribed to everything. Seedance for control, Sora for realism, Kling for volume, an image tool for key art. Four subscriptions, four wallets, four prompt dialects, four libraries, and a quiet dread every month that the model we had standardised on had just been leapfrogged.
OpenClips.AI is the tool we wanted on the inside: every serious model behind one composer, one credit wallet, one library. We shipped it publicly because the founders and small teams we buy media for have exactly the same problem, with less patience for it.
What we believe
Six rules we don't break
01
No expertise tax
You should not have to become a prompt engineer to get a usable ad. If a format needs a trick to work, the trick belongs in the product, not in a tutorial you have to find first.
02
Ship in minutes, not meetings
The unit of work is a render, not a revision cycle. If making the next version costs a coffee and four minutes, you stop defending your first idea and start testing your fifth.
03
One loop, not ten tools
Brief, cast, launch, look at the result, change one thing. Every tab you have to leave to complete that loop is a tab where the loop dies.
04
Models are cast, not platforms
The leaderboard reshuffles every few months; your workflow shouldn't. We add models the way a studio casts a role — for what each one is genuinely best at — so the roster improves underneath your craft instead of replacing it.
05
You own what you make
Your renders, your prompts, your library, your brand. Paid plans carry a commercial licence for everything you generate, and your work is exportable the day you decide to leave.
06
The meter never surprises you
Composing is free; credits are spent only when a render starts. The public rate card lives on the pricing page, and after sign-in the exact cost of your configured render sits on the Generate button before you press it.
How it works
Brief, cast, launch
01
Brief
Type the idea, or start from a launch-ready format that already knows how the shot should be built. Attach a product photo or a face reference if the shot needs one.
02
Cast
Pick the model that suits the job — or keep the one the format chose. The composer reconfigures itself around it: invalid aspect ratios, durations and resolutions simply disappear.
03
Launch
Press Generate. The render lands in your library in minutes, sized for the placement you picked, ready to download or push straight into a campaign.
The roster
Every serious model, one login
New models ship fast — often before the hype cycle reaches them.
Made with OpenClips.AI
Every clip ships with its prompt
Nothing here is a private recipe. Open any clip, read exactly how it was made, and remix it into your own composer.
Enough reading
Make one
The composer below is the real thing. Compose free — the wall only appears when you press Generate.
Enable JavaScript for the full composer, or continue in the app.
What are you making?
Switching filters the roster and rebuilds the parameter row.
Model
The model reconfigures everything else. Invalid controls simply vanish.
Aspect
Where is this clip going to live? Real shapes, true proportions.
Duration
Pick a length — the price updates as you do.
Attach product, avatar or reference
Attachments are content, not settings — they go in the strip, never into your prompt.
Frequently asked questions
OpenClips.AI is built by Coinis, a performance advertising company founded in Podgorica in 2013. Coinis is a team of 80+ people with offices in New York, Dubai and Podgorica, and has run campaigns for more than 10,000 advertisers.
Because creative volume became the constraint on our own work. Modern performance advertising needs dozens of variants per campaign to find a winner, and the traditional production pipeline cannot supply them at that rate or that price. We built the tool we needed, then opened it up.
No. Launch-ready formats carry the structure of the shot for you — UGC testimonial, product hero, before/after — so a plain sentence about your product is enough to start. Every clip in the community publishes its full prompt, so the fastest way to improve is to read work you admire and change one thing.
We add a model when it is genuinely the best cast for a kind of shot, not when it trends. That is why the roster mixes flagships with cheaper specialists: the right model for a 6-second product loop is rarely the right model for a 30-second anthem.
Yes. Paid plans include a commercial licence for everything you render. Launch-ready formats are built for advertising specifically, sized for every major placement.
